Management Accountant, North Ayrshire, 38-43K DOE – hybrid working

We are delighted to be working in partnership with our leading North Ayrshire client to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will provide various analysis and reports, with a particular focus on inventory control and variance account analysis.

The main duties:

  • Daily inventory control, analysis and reporting
  • P&L variance account management
  • Ensuring all allocated balance sheet reconciliations are completed
  • Processing of month-end stock reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Waste management analysis and reporting
  • Monthly gross margin revenue analysis
  • Works order monitoring, analysis & reporting
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including auditors
  • Supporting operational areas to help them understand processes, reports and data
  • Support with banking, payments and cashbook reconciliations
  • Ad hoc project work

The main requirements:

  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE
  • Experience with Inventory preferred
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Analytical
