Payroll Assistant, Glasgow, Hybrid Working, £27,500 plus benefits

We are working in partnership with a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow to recruit a Payroll Assistant, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a great role for those looking for hybrid working and flexible hours. The successful candidate will be able to work 3 days from home, and be based in the office for 2 days. My client is interested in either a full-time candidate or a part-time candidate who can work 4 days. This is an interesting and varied role within a great team and supportive culture.

The main duties:

  • Process a monthly payroll as part of a team
  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Process SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Liaise with the Payroll Team Leader
  • Generating payroll reports for managers
  • Dealing with payroll queries

The main requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills
