We are working in partnership with a charity based in Glasgow recruit a full-time Finance Business Partner, on a Fixed Term contract basis to cover maternity leave, for 18 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to progress into a FBP role. My client offers flexible hours and hybrid working - 3 days WFH and 2 days based in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting including variance analysis of actual to budget at service contract level
- Ensure accurate income recognition
- Financial analysis of service delivery against contract and commissioned hours
- Preparing financial information
- Detailed analysis of staffing costs
- Responsible for calculation and posting of monthly internal charges
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reporting of actual, budgetary, and forecast financials
Main requirements:
- Previous management accounting experience
- A Part Qualification (ACCA/CIMA) would be beneficial
- Experience of budgets/forecasts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Knowledge of FRS 102 and Charities SORP accounting would be desirable
