Accounts Payable Assistant, 27-29K plus benefits

We are working in partnership with our well-established client based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Payable Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a highly successful accounts payable team in a varied and fast-paced role which can offer the opportunity for progression.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching, processing and paying invoices 
  • Processing expense claims 
  • Managing the AP Mailbox 
  • Weekly Payment Runs 
  • Processing payments in various currencies
  • Processing credit card claims 
  • Supplier statement reconciliations 
  • Running various reports
  • Supporting the wider finance team
  • Project work

 Main requirements:

  • Previous accounts payable/purchase ledger experience is essential
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Be able to work in a high-volume environment to deadlines
  • Extremely driven and hard working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High levels of accuracy
