Accounts Senior - 30-35K DOE

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a rapidly expanding Accountancy Firm based in Renfrewshire, to recruit an Accounts Senior/Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Firm and progress your career! The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy practice environment with a great team and culture.

The main duties:

• Preparing accounts for limited companies and sole traders
• Preparing CT and self-assessment tax returns
• Preparing VAT returns
• Dealing with all client queries and developing strong relationships
• Contacting HMRC to resolve issues
• Carrying out other general accounting functions as required

The main requirements:

• Accountancy Practice experience is essential
• Be able to prepare accounts
• QuickBooks experience would be preferred
• Highly proficient IT skills, including Excel
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
